My wife and I went to Ocean Grove for a walk and had lunch at The Starving Artist. We were glad we did. We had a pear salad and a Mediterranean salad which were both delicious. Our server was attentive and polite. We sat in an area that was like a patio. We are definitely going back for either breakfast or lunch. They are not open for dinner.

Came on a holiday morning and it was busy. Wait was about 1 hour during peak morning hours which is overall not too bad. Service was a bit slow but still friendly. Seating is open to the air which was nice. Had the banana walnut pancakes which were huge and delicious. Overall, I would come for a solid breakfast place. Their servings are big and worth it!

The outdoor dining here is the BEST. We had a seat near the garden. Sitting next to a window with the doors opened up to the garden with the sun shining in and bees buzzing by - too good!!! Service was kind and quick. Menu is simple - the usual breakfast items. Had some french toast, eggs, and breakfast meats with some iced coffee. All was pretty good, pretty standard - can't complain. The ambiance is what makes this place so special.

Excellent brunch spot near the beach. My family and I frequent this restaurant because of the outdoor patio which is really spacious. The food is just right and we've always had great accommodations since we bring our baby.

A picturesque seating area with possibly the best lighting I've ever had in a restaurant, lol. We were placed right by the window, that overlooks a flower garden and noticed that almost every table was full -- this is definitely the spot to checkout when you're in town! As for the food? It's excellent. The starving artist breakfast is truly value for money. You get eggs, sausage, pancakes (or french toast) and bacon. I opted for the banana walnut pancakes (DELISH) and over-easy eggs. It was all very very well cooked and very very delicious. Basically the perfect brunch. Our server was really lovely and we had the friendliest host (quite possibly ever, lol). If we're ever in the area again, we're definitely coming back!
